The long summer break has settled in on the University of the West Indies – certainly here at Mona in Jamaica. Many of the UWI’s academic departments have regular courses on offer as well as special summer programmes, but in general, the activity level is at a hum rather than a roar.
Nonetheless our visitors have been coming one by one, two by two, or as planned groups. And the vibe continues to be positive.
